I didn't like 12. Gooder. And 6. Ms. Parker. Wtf is she? It's vulgar and uninteresting. No offense, but 11. Girl I Got You sounds like straight Nickelodeon rap. I decided 8. Sacrifice is uninteresing after I decided it sounds like some devil music on the lo. lol 10. She is Gone is just disturbing. It reminds me of Eminem dragging his girlfriend in the leaves and slamming her in the trunk of his car on Slim Shady. yikezzz =/

4. Wifebeater is okay. It's just that as soon as I saw the title I thought it was going to be a play on words, like...they're wifebeaters. Meaning they "beat" [sleep with]men's wives, since, sadly, rappers pride themselves on that these days. I think that's more creative then what the song is actually about, though. whatevzzz.

P.S. the last verse was disturbing and disgusting.

I just wasn't sure about 2. New Shit But Jae Millz's verse was great. I don't know if it's because D.C. just got more than a foot of snow, but this song reminds me of Christmas. lol

I don't know if the circulating track Finale is actually on the CD, but it's legit. It is arguably the best part. It reminds me of the introductions they do for the teams at the NBA All-Star game. hollaaaa!! =) hehe

So...I want to say that I think Lil Wayne is a genius for doing this album, all hip-hop labels should. It's a must to be legit. Young Money is where it's at right now. T-Streetz really intrigues me, I want to see and hear more of him. Nicki Minaj is a significant factor in Young Money, she's going places.

Thoughts on Rihanna Interview

I tuned into Rihanna exclusive interview on 20/20 yesterday 11/06. She revealed many details of what happened that night when she was assaulted by the singer/ex boyfriend, Chris Brown. She disclosed personal information of how she felt then, now and what she is anticipating for the future.


I felt Rihanna was being very honest and truthful. It is hard to put oneself into that vulnerable position especially in the limelight of the entertainment industry. This interview showed a side of Rihanna that we have never seen before and it was comforting to see that she is real person and is not perfect. It actually made me become more fond of her as a person as well as an artist.

This picked my spirits up a bit...

In a nutshell, I've been needing a serious pick-me-up lately and as I was flipping through the pages of Kanye West's, Thank You and You're Welcome, not only were my anxieties and frustrations slightly relieved, I had a eureka moment.

Basically, everything happens for a reason. Even the most depressing, defeating moments in life somehow lead or open doors to new, exciting opportunities that in many cases are far better than one's original desire.

Kanye talks about a "nameless" artist who used some of his beats, but when it was time to buy beats from Kanye for his studio album, he didn't bother, leaving Mr. West slighted, confused, and even crushed.

Can you guess how this story ends?

The beats Kanye originally made for "nameless,"ended up being used by Jay-Z!

Bam, Kanye gets a career.

Amazing.

.....

So, maybe if my subpar SAT scores result in a rejection letter from my dream school, it will lead to bigger and better things.
Either way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

When I found out Rick Ross finally made a video for "Layback," ft. Robin Thicke, I was ecstatic.


But, after watching it, honestly, I'm unimpressed. I knew it would be in Miami and I knew there would be beautiful women, for that much I give an A for effort. But, it wasn't done as tastefully as I expected, or creatively, for that matter. Though, that indoor pool was really cool, lol. Also, I prefer the album version of the song more.
