Janet's gettin summer ready...
I love her new song, "Heartbeat Love." It's inspiration to get anyone bikini ready and beach front hunting. She doesn't let her fans down with this ultra-pop sound and Pitbull's added Latin flavor makes anyone want to dance.

In case you forgot Monica could sing...
So, I'm not a fan of youtube videos with janky stills, but you HAVE to hear this song and this is the best plug I can find. It's beautiful, fresh, and uplifting. Monica's taking a superhuge risk by picking this as her first single, but I'm down. She took it to churrrrrch!!! Owww...
Monica-Everything
Monica-Everything
p.s. I'm going to be one of the first people to say that this will be a classic. I KNOW megachurches across the nation will re-up the lyrics to talk about God and make them apart of their Sunday church services.

Shyne on em!
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!

"Shyne has signed a seven-figure deal with Def Jam, ending a bidding war that included Dr. Dre/Jimmy Iovine. The plan is to have Shyne work out of London. That is, if he can get past UK immigration."

p.s. Also, Shyne may be picked up by HipHop since 1978 the same management team covering Lil Wayne, Drake, and Young Jeezy. ow ow ow ow ow ow owwww!

Ri-Ri connecting to her roots...
New Video, "Rude Boy,"
...she's come a long way since Pon De Replay. This is a good look.

This was directed by Melina Matsoukas who also shot Rihanna's video for Hard. The video is so fresh and innovative, I think it's award worthy.
Amber Rose does her own thing...
Yeezy's bronze beauty is on her modeling game. She teamed up with Persona Magazine to shoot a spread that captures moments from the short film,"This is England," about London Skinheads in England during the 1960s. This was when being a skinhead had nothing to do with race and politics, but thrived off unisex fashion, music, and lifestyle. It was a rebellious movement against pop culture.
