Tha Carter IV
So according to this video, Lil Wayne's, Tha Carter IV, will drop the day he comes out of jail...with no singles. To some this may seem crazy, but honestly, I think he'll still set record breaking album sales. Well, I know he will. It's just a matter of how long it'll take before the album goes platinum. Only an amazing rapper, like Wayne, could take on such a challenge with so much audacity.

Behind the Scenes with Fat Trel
Fat Trel, The Board of Administration and The Basshedz Music Group have been working very hard all summer! We followed Fat Trel down to Washington, D.C. while he shot a trailer for a song off his next mixtape No Secretz. The video, which will premiere soon, was captured near the waterfront in Georgetown by director David Banks, who also produced the trailer for No Secretz.
You can see him and his recording process in our video. You'll also see some other familiar faces: Kari Gold of the Basshedz and one of our photographers, Marli Washington. The finished product will be great. While you wait for it, click the video below to view some behind the scenes footage.

Introducing Mac Miller
Introducing 18-year-old rapper Mac Miller from Pittsburgh, PA. He is definitely one of the hottest things buzzing in the underground hip hop scene. After working hard all through high school, Miller just recently graduated from Allderdice High School and signed a deal with Rostrum Records. Bearing many musical talents Mac can play the guitar, drums, bass, and piano. He's already shared stages with the likes of Young Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa. There is not much introduction needed for this DMV rap duo, but for those of you who have never met Alo and Azizi, a.k.a. preHistoric, we’ll introduce you!! Alo was born in Miami, FL and after migrating all over Maryland he settled in Bowie, MD where he met Azizi. Azizi traveled a lot growing up, too. He was born in Germany and raised in Bangkok Thailand.
One word to describe their music: versatile. Their tracklist has everything from bottle poppin' club songs to thought provoking records. At ages 19 and 20, Azizi and Alo have already made strides. They have experience performing in clubs all over Washington, D.C. and their mixtapes circulate all around the country.
