Black Cobain x Fat Trel steal the show

Two nights ago, July 15, 2010, we followed the Board of Administration and The Basshedz to the DC Statehood Rally which was also a showcase for DMV artists. Black Cobain and Fat Trel both performed. Check out the pics and videos from the event!

Black Cobain performed Closer, leaving the crowd with a sped up acapella version.

Fat Trel started off with Pretty Boy Swagg acapella and performed Cremate 'Em.
This pair compliments each other nicely. They both bring exciting and contagious, but different, energy to the stage. Black Cobain's performance was smooth and oozed soul. His presence was persuasive and the crowd eagerly drew to the stage once his turn came up--- a completely different reaction then when other rappers of the event performed. Meanwhile, Fat Trel kept it hood with raw, unadulterated lyrics and an animated performance. He left the crowd in awe by bringing up his infamous Slutty Boyz and making vicious eye contact with the whole front row. The crowd loved his energy and fed off of it up until the last second he walked off stage.
